Standard Working Terms
Effective for all thumbnail design and packaging services.
01. Scope of Work & Process Flow
To ensure the project stays on schedule and aligns with the Client's vision, the design process follows a strict phased approach:
- Phase 1: Concept & Sketch. The Designer will provide initial concepts and/or sketches for the thumbnail based on the brief.
- Phase 2: Approval. The Client must review and explicitly approve the sketch before any high-fidelity design work begins.
- Phase 3: Execution. Once the sketch is approved, the Designer will complete the final thumbnail. Requests to change the core concept or layout after Phase 2 approval require a new agreement and additional fees.
02. Revision Limits
This agreement includes a strict limit of three (3) revision rounds on the finalized design.
- A "revision round" consists of a consolidated list of requested tweaks (e.g., color adjustments, font changes, minor asset swapping).
- Additional Revisions: Any revisions requested after the third round will incur an additional flat rate fee. These fees will be added to your invoice and billed according to your project's specific payment schedule.
03. Payment Terms & Late Penalties
- Schedule: Payment structures (e.g., upfront, 50/50 split, or retainer terms) are established individually on a per-client basis. Unless a custom schedule is explicitly agreed upon, final un-watermarked deliverables will be released once the project balance is paid in full.
- Late Payments: Invoices must be paid by the specified due date. Payments received past the due date will automatically incur a late fee. Continued failure to pay will result in an immediate halt of all current and future design work.
04. Artwork Integrity & AI Restrictions
The Designer takes pride in delivering highly tailored, strategic thumbnails. To maintain the integrity of the work:
- The Client agrees that the final delivered thumbnails must be used as provided.
- No AI Editing: The Client is strictly prohibited from running the Designer's thumbnails through any Artificial Intelligence (AI) generation, upscaling, or editing tools to alter the final product.
- If the Client requires alternative versions, tweaks, or upscales, they must request them directly from the Designer.
By paying the project invoice or deposit, the Client automatically acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these standard working terms.
